About meou

Made by hand, in Hertfordshire

meou is a small British workshop making things that are printed, finished and packed by one pair of hands — not assembled on a line somewhere and badged.

It started with a question that wouldn't go away: what would the Moon actually look like on a wall, if you built it from the real thing rather than an artist's impression? The answer became the Pasithea Living Moon — a lunar relief generated from NASA's laser altimetry of the actual lunar surface, so every crater and ridge sits exactly where it sits in the sky. It's lit from within, printed in sections over many days, and hand-finished at every seam.

Alongside it is a growing range of collectible figurines — knights, rangers, dragons, and a few travellers with rather more character than their size suggests. Each one comes either as a clean white print, ready for your own brushes, or hand-painted by us.

Why it looks the way it does

Everything here is 3D printed, which means no two pieces are quite identical. There are faint layer lines if you look closely. Seams are filled and finished by hand. Paint varies a little from one figure to the next. We think that's the point — it's the difference between something made and something manufactured.

meou is based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Designed, printed, finished and shipped from here. Nothing is drop-shipped and nothing is made overseas.
